Renee Halpert was very professional and drove us out to the dessert from Jerusalem for a wonderful active and educational tour of archaeological discoveries and history in qumran and masada. She brought us to beautiful and safe adventures in ein gedi and the dead sea – all 4 places in one day !! I would love to go with her again on another trip to Israel and I recommend her tour to everyone!!D.Cohen, California – September 2019

Just wanted to thank you again for giving us a most informative, uplifting, well rounded tour through Gush Etzion, Old City & Chevron!!! We absolutely could not have done it without you! And we’ve got memories to cherish forever!!! Thanks so much!!

Renee Halpert is a wonderful tour guide, with a wealth of knowledge–historical, geological, geographical, archaeological–at her fingertips. She was sensitive to our interests and created an unforgettable experience for our grandson! L & V – Rehovot – October 2017

We had family from the States visiting and we were a very diverse group. Renee managed to relate to all of us and helped us create amazing memories. She was very knowledgeable and we had a really great experience. Thank you! L.K. – Beit Shemesh – July 2017

You made this trip one of a lifetime. There are no more words!
Joanna & David – Wilmington, N.C. – June 2016

Your knowledge and passion is easy to see and becomes contagious to those around you. Thank you for making our trip so wonderfully amazing! P & B, Wilmington, N.C. – June 2016

Renee Halpert is an amazing guide! She worked with our synagogue’s trip to Israel. She personalized our itinerary and helped us have the best experience possible. Would we have her as a guide again? Absolutely!! I’ve always told people that the success of your trip to Israel is the person you find to guide you, teach you, and most of all share the wonders of Israel. You far exceeded our expectations and we are very grateful…M & S, N.C. – June 2016

In the movie, This Is Spinal Tap, Nigel Tufnel says he has the only guitar in the world on a 1-10 amp system that “goes to 11”. On a 1-10 guide scale Renee goes to 12. Smart, incredibly knowledgeable, fun, interesting, she gives one both an overview and the details of every stop. If you are looking for a guide in Israel, she is the best.

Time spent in Israel is always wonderful but spending it with Renee Halpert as your guide, eyes and ears is beyond amazing. Her understanding of the past and present is insightful and delivered in a colourful and meaningful way. Her energy is infectious as is her smile! We traveled from north to south and all parts in between. We were a tough group of 5 adults, one who has been to Israel so many times she can’t count, two who were in Israel as older teens then again for their son’s bar mitzvah and two first timers! With all the diversity everyone learned and was totally engaged. I can’t say enough about Renee’s professionalism and her ability to turn history into memories for everyone. Renee thank you, I wish everyone could see Israel through your eyes!

Firstly I would like to thank you for being our guide and showing us Israel in such an awe inspiring way. I think I’m now addicted! We had an absolutely wonderful time and enjoyed everything about your touring.
I think what we enjoyed most, was the personal way you brought Israel to us. Your passion was infectious and your knowledge amazing. The stories you told were fascinating and you were able to explain a very complicated history in an interesting and captivating way.
Overall the experience was life changing and something I will remember forever. I have no suggestions for improvement because in my opinion, it was the perfect touring experience.
Thank you again for being our guide and showing us the beauty and power of Israel.

Regarding our day in Israel with you, I can describe it in one word, AWESOME!
I am a consummate traveler, on my own, with groups and with private guides and you have earned the right to be at the top of my list.
Your enthusiasm, as fresh at the end of the day as when we met you in the morning, your knowledge, and your captivating information held my interest and never waned regardless that I was!

Because it was my daughter’s first time in Israel, I asked …to find us a guide for a half day tour of the Old City. I should note that I am legally blind, and need some extra patience from anyone who’s leading me around. Our guide, Renee, was great with that–she even brought a 3-D topographic map of the area with her so I could feel the hills with my fingers and get a better sense of the surroundings. We both loved the 5 hours or so we spent with her.

My 12 yo son and I spent a day cycling in central Israel with Renee. He loved it, learned a ton of history and rode over 20 miles. Could not have been any better!
Mike L, Teaneck, New Jersey – Dec. 2014

Renee was knowledgeable, kind, courteous, and passionate, with a sense of humor. She provided special places from which to view the Old City which we never would have known about, such as the Austrian hostel café and rooftop vantage points…Renee took us to see not only important Jewish sites but Christian sites as well which was much appreciated. I most especially enjoyed her open and honest candor in discussing current events in Israel, sharing her experiences of living, working and raising children in Jerusalem. We hope to do it again and discover even more.

Our tour, [to Beit Guvrin National Park] on a beautiful, sunny, but not-too-hot day, was beyond our expectations–we hiked to several fascinating sites, and Renee was knowledgeable about each one. She knew the history of each site, and was careful to intersperse our tour with places to sit and rest periodically. She also supplied plenty of cold water to drink, to avoid overheating. The tour was definitely a high point of our trip. We look forward to future trips when Renee can guide us to other antiquities and nature sites.
